The Connecticut Amateur Softball Association announces “Open Rosters” for the 2008 season. Men and women competing in the Open Slow-Pitch division may now play on as many teams as they wish during local league play without penalty. Players are only bound to a team when he/she competes with said team in a Championship Play event such as a National Qualifier, Sectional, or State Tournament. Once a player competes in Championship Play he/she is bound to that team for the 2008 season without the ability to transfer. Local league play is not considered Championship Play.
